Requirements: 1. Minimum three years’ teaching experience, with at least a bachelor’s degree, and a teaching certificate where applicable;
2. Child focused, highly professional and competent in bilingual classroom teaching settings;
3. Experience in differentiating teaching techniques and passionate about learning;
4. Intercultural communication and global competency;
5. Linguistic proficiency in English;
6. IB teaching experience preferred.
Job Description: 1. Supports the IB philosophy and mission statement;
2. Supports the vision, mission and philosophy of the school;
3. Establishes and maintains open communication and respect towards colleagues, students and their families;
4. Participates in all collaborative planning meetings;
5. Provides students with constant feedback to inform and improve their learning;
6. Participates in parent-teacher conferences;
7. Has the design cycle displayed in the classroom and lets students know clearly which stage of the cycle they are working on;
8. Provides weekly plans to the MYP Coordinator prior to the week commencing;
9. Provides unit planner to the MYP Coordinator prior to the unit commencing;
10. Meets the MYP requirements for their subject group as set out in their subject guide and the MYP Standards and Practices Document.
